The Rift Zone 27.5″ brings together super fun and super shreddy 27.5″ wheels, 130mm of rear travel, a lightweight aluminum frame and our super-plush MultiTrac suspension platform for endless good times on the trails.

The Marin Rift Zone 27.5″ 1 is your gateway to the Rifty family, made to push the limits of your riding but not your bank balance. It’s built with super reliable X-Fusion suspension, grippy Vee Crown Gem tires, plenty of Shimano and a hand-picked selection of our favorite Marin components.

Built around a Series 3 6061 aluminum frame, the Rift Zone 1 dishes out 130mm of rear travel via Marins buttery-smooth MultiTrac suspension platform. Combined with a 140mm X-Fusion front fork and modern trail geometrylike a slack 65.5 head tube angle, long reach, and short chainstaysits perfectly dialed for big hits, tight switchbacks, and rowdy descents alike.

Suspension That Works As Hard As You Do
The custom-tuned X-Fusion O2 Pro R rear shock and matching X-Fusion Slide or Sweep Boost RC fork (depending on wheel size) soak up rock gardens and root tangles while keeping your pedaling platform efficient and supportive. The Rift Zone 1 eats square-edge hits for breakfast and keeps charging all day.

Trail-Ready Drivetrain & Brakes
Shimano Deore 11-speed shifting gives you crisp, reliable gear changes, paired with an 11-51T SunRace cassette and a forged alloy crank with a 32T narrow-wide ringideal for technical climbs and high-speed descents. Tektro HD-M280 hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors front and rear provide confident stopping power when the trail points down.

Modern Wheelset with Aggressive Rubber
Marin double-wall 29mm rims wrapped in Vee Tire Co. Snap WCE 2.35 tires provide superb traction and cornering grip. Tubeless-ready construction lets you easily convert for lower pressure and fewer flats. Hubs are Shimano MT-series, ensuring smooth rolling and easy serviceability.

Smart Touchpoints & Dropper Equipped
A 780mm Marin mini-riser handlebar gives you precise control, while the X-Fusion Manic dropper post (150mm or 170mm travel depending on frame size) lets you slam the saddle out of the way at a moments notice. The Marin Speed Concept saddle and MTN grips complete the package with trail-proven comfort.
